Recycling computers responsibly in our global community!
Computer Drives
Wings for West Africa helps schools, churches and
community groups to organize and conduct computer collection drives.
Unusable equipment is turned over to Work Force, Inc., a non-profit
which trains ex-offenders to break down and recycle the component parts.
Help provided by Wings as needed:
-
Providing flyers,
Power Point presentations, signs and other materials
-
Attending meetings
or make presentations
-
Publicizing the
drive in the media
-
Helping with the
logistics of collecting and sorting equipment before and
during the drive
-
Providing tax
donation forms to donors
-
Arranging for
prompt removal of all equipment at the end of the drive
