Recycling computers responsibly in our global community!Student Exchange ProgramIn June of 2008 Miles Johnson, student at North Central High School, Indianapolis traveled to Senegal to help in the distribution of over 3,000 pairs of eye glasses collected as part of the annual project of the school’s French Honor Society of which Wings president, Kathleen Lattimer, is sponsor. |

In June of 2006 four students from North Central High School, Indianapolis, traveled to Senegal with Wings for West Africa vice-president, Habib Diatta, as part of our mission to train teachers to use the computer technology provided by Wings. They spent three weeks living with African families while teaching keyboarding and basic computer skills in French to teachers and other interested members of three school communities. |
